"Bev, it was so wonderful to have you helping me with both the pre-planning and onsite help at my husband's 50th birthday party. I planned a huge event (just kept inviting) since it was at my house and what the heck, might as well invite everyone... You helped me determine what was important and what just wasn't going to happen, and offered to help as much, or little, that I needed in certain areas. You were always patient and professional and never pushy.

Your background with cooking and (cooking presentations) was great in that you knew how to prepare meals that would be good for a crowd, as well as manage the flow of people, food and cleanup. It was reassuring that everytime I noticed, you were replenishing food or cleaning up. These were all jobs I would have been doing, the entire time. There was very little to do after you left, other than enjoy rehashing stories and reading cards and well wishes. Without your help, I wouldn't have had been able to enjoy all these wonderful friends and family that we gathered together. I can't thank you enough for your patience, organization and professionalism. I would never hesitate to refer you to my friends, my family or use you again for any event that I plan in the future!"

"My daughter's Sweet 16 party was a week away and I had not had time to get organized or prepped for the event at all. I emailed Bev Friday morning and by that afternoon she was on the job. I was so relieved! Bev had wonderful ideas for theme-related snacks and decorations. Her menu suggestions for teenagers were spot-on. She related well with my daughter who thought she was terrific. But the best part was that I was able to hand off the entire menu planning, shopping, prepping and set up to Bev. I was confident she would pull things off and she did. The night of the party, Bev was thoroughly prepared, calm and organized, and had thought of everything from food to serving dishes to plastic containers for me to take leftovers home in (!). "I would like to commend Bev Johnston for saving my daughter and I when we needed it the most! We were overwhelmed by many obstacles for her upcoming wedding and didn't know what we were going to do. We needed to be in two places at one time, it seemed. (The wedding was in Columbia and we lived about 30 minutes away in Eldersburg.) Bev was able to help us in more ways that we even thought of. Through some of her contacts we were able to even save some money. [Her team] helped with the set-up of the wedding arch and pew decorations for the wedding ceremony, setting up place cards, centerpieces and favors at the reception. Bev acted as our hostess the day of the wedding and greeted many of our guests and guided them to their particular tables. She also helped to set up the wedding cake and clean up after the wedding. I have spoken to Bev a few times since the wedding and have told her, if we didn't [have her help] I wonder how we could've gotten through. She is definitely a Godsend!"
